Proven Approach
Sword & Shield consultants support Federal and International agencies with their information security needs. We provide support for these agencies primarily in the area of Security Assessments and Testing. Our security testing encompasses risk assessments, network vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and application security testing from both an external and internal perspective. We typically conduct these tests from both an informed and uninformed perspective to give the agency a better understanding of their weaknesses and potential threats from both insiders and from those without specific knowledge of their systems. Our consultants use a dependable mature testing methodology to ensure the most comprehensive assessments using the most up-to-date tools and techniques for identification of vulnerabilities.
Professional Service
In addition to our Security Assessments, our consulting staff supports agencies with design and architecture of security solutions, review and development of security policies, and with Certification and Accreditation for FISMA compliance. Over 80 % of our engineers have achieved the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification and many maintain additional industry and product certifications including Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Qualified Data Assessor (QSA) certifications.
Government Contracts: We maintain a GSA Schedule 70 contract: GS-35F-0772R and are a prime contract holders for the NASA SEWP III: NAS5-02150 and the new NASA SEWP IV: NNG07DA21B. We have a BPA with several Federal Agencies for our consulting services.
